Him and me both! The Taco is about done for a while. Next project is 4.7's in Clyde... then trade Clyde in. Then repair my car hauler... then wheel the balls of the new rig.
Now to just learn how to operate my GPS a little better.![]()

Its actually in a much better spot. Before it was about 1.5 inches from the steering wheel.. too close, my hand would touch it sometimes. The new position puts it down and to the left a bit more. But still very accessible and the gauges are even more visible.
As for the GPS, I just never go "hiking" to use it, so this is the first time its been in the truck. So I know how to use about 30% of what it does. I'm even more tarded when it comes to that new 2M radio.![]()
Sexangulation... it's the newest thingI like it......but why 2 GPS units?
X2Looks like Radio Shack threw up...
Not that its bad...

Damn dude. Starting to look like an airplane cockpit... Means you've got a "real" expedition rig
One for on-road and one for off.
The Nuvi has the ability to load up the 1:24000 Topo maps but its no where as usefull off-road as the Triton. Same for the Triton, it has roads.. but again, no where as useful as the Nuvi. Each has there place. The Triton mount is easily removed, leaving only a small ball in one of the mounting points for the oh-shit handle. It then can be moved to the 4Runner or other trail rig. I have two sets of mounts for it.
