Granted there is going to be deaths, and it’s about useless to compare deaths to other causes.

It’s the amount of patients that have to be hospitalized and require ventilators, no other disease or virus has hospitalized that many, that quick(couple weeks) in our lifetime.

It’s the amount of patients that have to be hospitalized and require ventilators, no other disease or virus has hospitalized that many, that quick(couple weeks) in our lifetime.

Think of all the expensive ventilators that were just ordered. When do they go to auction? - hopefully before they are filled with mold.

A lot of the government reaction was 1) public safety and 2) government expansion. Even the democrats are on record saying that this is a chance to push socialist agendas into new parts of the society.

The real irony is now where NY is saying the Federal government cannot mandate them to "open back up" because of the 10th Amendment. That is the same 10th Amendment that other states used to defend a state's right to legalize weed. That is the same 10th Amendment that other states used for denying gay marriage.

Weird how now Democrats are all for the 10th Amendment and state's rights against Federal over reach.

And I could care less about big banks and big business that will get bailed out with my tax money again. They always come out on top.

People and companies will never learn to be prepared if they always get bailed out by big brother at our expense and the expense of the next generation thats born into debt.

If we were to ever get nuked, just imagine the chaos that would cause. (Don’t ever think it can’t happen), Russia flys bombers near the U.S./Alaska often/yearly not to mention Russia is back at Cuba, in the last couple years, military ships/subs have been seen there and Putin plans on making it a hub again....history repeats itself: Cuban Missile Crisis.
Latin America is also another designated hot spot for the Russians, they are currently working on plans for strategic outposts/ fueling points.
