At my last job I was in a cubicle, but I bought the 6' tall dividing walls and chose my own teammates and was the boss so we had one large area for 4 desks and we only used 3 of them for workers. Our desks were not integrated and we had at least 6-10' between us. Little cramped but nothing like the typical cubicals. I would always catch shit from our head of engineering for cuss words when talking t customers. I'm not your typical desk jockey and he had no idea thats how I bonded with certain customers. I would never drop a cuss w/o letting the customer cuss first. I have many religious customers so you never know who you will offend.

I owned a .com company with a few lib tards. They liked that sort of thing - I thought it was stupied. They went BK! ... not before two of the five founders stole a couple hundred grand before I resigned. I lost $100k on that deal but you win some, you lose some. I guess I have lost more than my fair share! Not complaining now since that NEVER made me any money!

I don't doubt it. I'm the only person who wears a mask here at work in our shop and half our guys are from Philly and the other half from NJ.

Everyone thinks I'm crazy, but all be dammed if I just start getting my life in order and have my dreams within reach to let China kill me while I have a bunch of money in the bank

3% chance of getting it with a mask vs 17% w/o a mask per some stats Ive read + mandated by OSHA so everyone here is breaking the rules. I don't manage the shop so that's on them. Exactly why I resigned as safety officer prior to this crap and I refused to be our Covid compliance officer. One sick guy in our shop will bring this entire company to its knees, but everyone wants to be cool and tough so they are risking their houses and families futures IMHO. To each their own I guess...but not on my jobsites. I run a tight ship.
