One word, LOCKER.
You would've covered almost everything with a locker.

Yeah I definitely need a locker. Those last two attempts were full throttle but I put it on too late. A bit earlier and I would have had it. Also, non relative to this, I think I have a warped rotor :/ I noticed some mad shudders and vibrations in my brake pedal on my drive from San Marcos yesterday.

Yeah...I just couldn't have TaRD or TuRD in my name anymore. I really didn't think that one through.

air assault?

I was actually both. I went to Air Assault school first at my permanent station Ft. Campbell. About six months later, I got the chance to become a paratrooper as well and couldn't turn it down. I did Airborne School at Ft. Benning, GA. Had a BLAST! Both schools were great. Air Assault was more intellectually rigid because of all the sling load procedures and Airborne school was more physically intense for the obvious reasons.
