Ok, I guess its done for a little bit.. still need to fill the firepit are with some rock in the bottom and then some colored glass on top. A project for this summer. That glass shit is stupid $$$. Like $7-8 a pound and we need 120-140 pounds so they say! No no.. has to be a better way.

I need to redo my pool something fierce. Hasn't been touched in 20 years. It needs help.

Redoing our master bedroom closet tomorrow. We are pushing the wall back 6' into the living room to make this a walk in closet.

Think I'm going to put sound deadening on the walls. I don't have the material for it yet but I think I'm gonna put a layer of mass loaded vinyl on the wall on the living room side then stack another layer of drywall over the top of it.

My wife goes to bed early and is always complaining about being able hear the TV. 5 speakers and the subwoofer will be on that wall.

Double sheetrock and good insulation works pretty good for knocking down sound. I have a buddy that used a sound canceling mat he put under the sheetrock that i can get the info on. He stays up late playing music or video games and the rest of the house sleeps.

Maybe @italynstylion will know off the top of his head - what did Matt use in his game room walls? It is stupid impressive.

^that and you can add insulation, one layer of plywood then 2 Sheetrock, it wouldn’t hurt to have a strong interior closet for strom events, shit just make it a walk in safe, 1/2 steel plate and 3in I beams,

Very nice, do you guys need a lazy butler who will drink all your beers and eat your food, swim, sleep all day, occasionally might wash dishes for ya? But I would make your garage always look good and organized cause I would like to apply, nevermind you already have some of those habits or will obtain them. jk.

You can pick up some fire brick and fill in and layer that pit some more before adding all that expensive glass.

Just finished pouring a ~3'w x 3'L x 23"D slab for a metal pole that supports the sail that goes over my mom's pool. Took eighteen 80# bags of concrete to fill. Luckily I had @thekidcatcher to help me out. Took us all day to dig it out, frame out the form, rebar it and pour it.

The soil at my mom's house is about 3" of dirt, 20" of red clay and the rest is this blueish clay that is crazy hard. So digging is a bitch! next time I'm renting an excavator and concrete moved from Home Despot!

Aucoustiblock is the way to go. It's what I use at work and is awesome stuff!

Cleaned out flower beds, trimmed roses and other shrubs, planted flowers, some shrubs, and put down a bunch of mulch. Fuck I am tired.

Well after 9 years I think my last DieHard Platinum finally died. Probably my own fault. I had it in the shed on a solar panel with a charge controller powering lights in the shed. Someone left them on when doors where shut last, I'll take the blame. Anyhow, got a AGM charger on "repair" mode now but its not looking promising.
