I guess a hive of bees needed a bigger space and picked the gap between my brick and trim as the best spot. Got a bee guy coming on Monday. Said since they have only been there 2 or 3 days the hive should have little to honey and easier to remove. Going to have some work to do after so joy. Good thing I have some time at home on my hands.

Fire up the bbq pit near there and just let it smoke, they will move on down the road.

yesh, bees are normally not aggressive, if you do happen to get stung, leave the area, because it puts off pheromones for other bees to sting.

Nice weather here today/tonight. Got up to 71* so I got to crack open the house for a few hrs. Might light up a fire and throw back some beers in my backyard. Nice scent of oak smoke in the air already from people doing the same and the sky's are super clear.

Was nice out yesterday, so I borrowed a friend's pressure washer and went to town on all our concrete surfaces.

First sunburn of the year acquired on my neck and forearms. On the bright side, they look great! Well, I guess they are both bright sides because my neck and concrete are both pretty bright right now.

I used my newly acquired pressure washer yesterday too to blast the mold off my North side siding on my house.

Spent yesterday cleaning up the backyard. Taylor painted the parts of the shed that were rusting. So now it's two different shades of white. She says it looks better. I think it looks worse. I still need to get around to buying a new one so that one can be torn down and scrapped. And still have a load or two of brush to haul off. But the yard looks much better than it did a week ago.

I used my newly acquired pressure washer yesterday too to blast the mold off my North side siding on my house.

As an agent, you NEVER confirmed any mold. What you had was biological growth that discolored your siding.

Finally got a grill after nearly 2 years of having the house. It's not the Traeger I wanted but it was a birthday present and beggars cant be choosers. Plus I still have a smoker for the big stuff. Plan on firing this thing up tomorrow night.

Relocated my rocks and cactus away from my front steps. All these rocks/petrified wood came from within a few miles of my house except the white river rocks (frio) and two chunks of granite (Mt. Scott/fort seal area). Over the last 20 yrs I've picked them up while I walking in the evenings, the big ones I drug home on a old tire behind my 4wheeler

I hit them with the pressure washer and added powdered coated S Ive had laying around.

The metal pieces are wagon axle shaft pieces off my great grandfathers wagon he brought with him from Tennessee in 1895.

Blake, move that firewood away from the house, that’s a good way to end up with termites, and if you do anything with the deck, make sure there is galvanized flashing between house and deck, or use composite decking.

How to Apply Diatomaceous Earth to Vegetable Gardens
Before you put plants in the ground, DE powder the hole, especially on those cucumber, squash, and zucchini plants, I try and add DE before putting most plants in the ground.
You can pick up DE at tractor supply cheap, the last 40lb bag I got was about $14 on sale

Very nice, I didn’t get much time out in my Victory Garden this past wknd, I was focused on trying to finish painting the gazebo, seems like I have underestimated the time for my projects and the weather slowed my completion goals as wells.

I hear that. Tuesday the bee keeper is coming back to get the hive from my porch. He was 2 houses down getting another hive in my neighbors yard that was in a tree. Going to have to remove a fascia board to gain access but its rotten on the other end so needs to be replaced and this just makes it an excuse to do it. Trim and paint work will be my after work projects this week.

Also trying to talk my friend into taking the hive to his ranch to pollinate food plots and harvest honey.

I will probably have 2 hives next year, the timing of getting the hive boxes that I really wanted, got real expensive with past Australia fires, that is where they are made.

Some pneumatic tool organization, for those of us that haven't switched to the battery age yet. I still believe in air tools, I know alot of guys at work that do nothing but blow hot air around and they seem to be making out well.
