They were, the bass are Florida bass so they did a lot of jumping that green sunfish put up as much if not more of a fight though.

Shot a doe yesterday evening so that plus fish I would say it was a good weekend.

I ended up getting this buck on this past Wednesday on our family land. We haven't seen this one at all on the game camera. 12 pts, 17 1/2" wide and 150lbs field dressed.

Not too uncommon, that's why most states have the antler reatrictions and not solely rely on the sex of the deer(i.e. buck vs antleredless), some areas of the U.S. it's 1 out 5K are transgender

Finally got to go deer hunting this past weekend. The hunting lodge was all inclusive and had buck & doe tags from Texas Parks & Wildlife that needed to be filled. I shot a doe and a spike. Those East Texas deers are small. All the guys except one got multiple deer on this trip.

It was cold! The weather got down to 12° in the blind! My little heater and hand warmers didn't make a difference at all.
