Memorial day sales should be starting now so Ill start checking them all out. I really like the remote power option. My location could easily support a 12v battery and small solar panel via semi long cable. Set and forget would be nice.

I have a moultrie game camera (about $100 new) that's 10 years old and still working fine. Its never been taken down either. You only need to put batteries in it once a year if you use good ones. The lens is just now getting sun baked so the daytime pics have a blurry ring, but nighttime are crystal clear. I also have a Primos and it is complete garbage. I bought my dad a Wildgame one a few years ago and it turned out to be a pos too. When I do buy a new one I'm going with moultrie again.

We have 1 juvenile fox hanging out, which there has been a decrease in tree rats lately and there are 2 fawns stuck inside our yard, we tried to get them out the gate yesterday, no luck. I have a deer feeder 125ft away from the house, we get small herds at times, not lately because the 2 mamas have been fighting off the other deer, starting to see more and more bucks in the past few days.

My neighbor put hog wire around his entire place, now its a sanctuary for deer(good for me because they come to my fields to feed mornin/evening). That doe has a fawn trapped on his side of our shared fence. I see her almost daily walking the baby down to his pond to drink.

I normally don’t provide water, but since the 2 fawns are stuck, I have the boys change out a 5 gallon bucket of water every day that’s sits pretty close to the feeder.

In addition to having the small fox around, one of their favorite foods are the gophers, fresh mound and fresh fox prints, this area was mowed yesterday.

None of the above. There's no sport in it really unless your using a bow. I use a paper target if I'm just wasting ammo. I don't eat the nasty fucking things. And its not really fun, unless I'm using a bow. I kill them because the root up my pasture and make it hard to mow.

Hell almost every one dead i post is from running it over lol

just like anything else you have no real control over. It sucks, shit happens and the world keeps turning.

Oh I agree, the feral hogs are some of the most prolific large mammals on the face of the Earth, A female can have her first litter at 7-months old and these hogs can have up to 3 litters a year.

tested then set my trail cams up today. interested to see whats playing in my yard at night and when I'm at work.

not pleased to see they frown on placing them facing W or E due to the sun & not point them at vegetation. guess thats common sense but that limits their use a ton and I didn't think of it. I put one facing W due to necessity but its under shade so we shall see if I need to move it
