So a month ago we put a game camera on an odd fence crossing into a hay pasture. There were a few pig tracks through but we were really trying to see if coyotes were using it. The results are surprising - deer, coyotes, and some of the biggest boars we have seen to date.

If we can get these big boars to show up in February we should end that month with a nice check from that competition. The camera is mounted 28" off the ground at the camera port. Looking forward to testing out the thermal an suppressor on the coyotes after they hay is cut.

Made a quick trip today to fill up feeders since my dads was empty. Mines put out 400lbs since setting it up in February. 100lbs a month is about what I was expecting so that’s nice to see. My dads timer malfunctioned and dumped 600 lbs in two months so he’s been through 900lbs since February. Glad it was his and not mine though since corn is now $11 a bag up here. Was $264 for 1200lbs this morning. And the price of diesel on top of that made this an expensive 8 hour trip.

Euro mount from the big boar killed earlier this year was picked up yesterday. Apparently it will not be a table center piece.

The guys at the taxidermist said that is the biggest boar head they have seen in the area in the last 30 years. Not sure how many heads they have seen but yeah; it is big. They had it on the counter with two others when I walked in. Couple of guys were taking pictures of it next to the normal sized skulls.

That's pretty cool all his teeth are all intact and not damaged, waiting to get mine back from my brother. It was the biggest one that I taken so far.

I have been watering around my tree every few days that provides shade for the RV pad, and looks like the hogs found some wet ground last night.

I wish I knew someone who had one those fancy thermal scopes...

Headed up to Aspermont on Tuesday to start running the electricity to the shop and RV pad. Well, assuming we can find a trencher to rent. Shouldn’t be a problem though. Guess the Ford is going to be on towing duty since the diesel is currently down. Curious to see how it does.

Got to go Snapper fishing on Friday. Went 43 miles offshore to get em. My buddy burned about $2k in diesel for those fish
I got to take my nephew with me and it was his first time deep sea fishing and he caught a nice sized black tip shark!
