That guy I was telling you about that was hunting in Freer this past weekend showed me a pic of a buck his Uncle shot. It was a real nice 10 point he said the spread was wider then his shoulders. He also said I could have the rest of his deer/Turkey tags because he wont be hunting anymore this year, I have one buck tag and 4 turkey already so if any of ya'll need a extra tag let me know.

He saw a shit load of them in Freer Saturday and Sunday, said they were all roosting on the powerlines and comming out on the roads eating corn.

Whatever floats your boat man. Those turkey heads are freaking tiny, and a body shot with a 30-06 might not leave a whole lot of meat.This is texas....we get to shoot Turkeys with rifles

Yeah I've just always used a rifle. I'm not bashing anyone who does it just one of those things I don't understand.

because in most states you have to, I'm going to use my Bow if I can, otherwise i'll use the .204 or maybe my .22...
not sure I will shoot them with the 30-06
