Well good luck, I had the same vise from Home Depot. It cracked.. granted it was probably 2 years later. But its first 23 months was pretty low-key... "hey you,... yeah you in the blue... hold this.. hold it tight... thank you." :) But it cracked when I started to really use it. It's made from a cast metal which I'm told can be welded with the proper rod and technique. None of which I possessed. :)

Well it will be used and abused. Maybe after this one breaks, I'll convince myself to buy the more expensive better vise...just not right now.

Flea market for vice! I got mine which is just like Seans for $30 , then some time last year, we found a Japanese made Craftsman from the 60's for $40 for my BIL.

Holy smokes, the exhaust is 3/16... not easy to drill into. Tried my hand and sharpening 1/2" drill bits, no luck. Ran through 2, they are expensive. .. bought a unibit for the first time (also VERY expensive) wow, they are awesome, hope it stays sharp

Looking GREAT!!!

I was just telling Sean that I was teaching myself CAD and how to make Dies... Up 'til this weekend, I have opened up CAD programs but haven't drawn on one since 1984!

Wish I knew CAD, lucky someone else posted the info online, so I took all the measurement, makes it tons easier to just work off of. Found a nice write up, 14pages or so!

Very nice Gerardo! You need a plasma cutter. :)

By unibit do you mean a stepped bit? Also for a job like that I would have went and got a 5/8-3/4" hole saw

Nice!

The program that I am using is free and they have free videos on how to use. I just needed the proper motivation. My life savings was right ticket! lol

I was thinking about a plasma cutter today lol. Wanted to just stop at tractor supplies and get one vs Lowe's to get drill bits haha

Thinking about air intake like this maybe if I end up getting one

I've bought a number of compressors in the last 4 months - 2 roots style and 2 IR T10s (one single phase and one multi phase). I picked up the IRs for $600 and $700. :) I know where they one of them will eventually end up. :)

I think I'm going to end up. Holding a smoker for a buddy in a couple of weeks when he comes up for the weekend. Just have to see if I can come up with some 18" pipe.

if i was building a smoker, i would go 24" pipe.18",you cant fit a brisket besides sideways. 24 will give you more options even if you get a shorter pipe

After busting my knuckles using a HF Flare Nut Wrench, I went surfing to buy a SnapOn one. I have to say I do love China!!! They are creating an opportunity of a lifetime for me. :) Then the thought of a $40 plus wrench that I will rarely use, I returned to my principles!!! ...of being cheap! :) So I bought a $15 GearWrench one. :)

I'm a big fan of Gear Wrenches. I had had zero issues with them plus they feel good in your hand.
