Thank you. I'm cool like that.

Damn thing is already heavy. Its all made out of 1/4" plate. I plan to get in there and skeletonize a few interior areas to shave a few pounds. The sides will be 3/16".

nice work...! I would have done everything with 3/16" steel plate...
this is my "home work" bumper..! =D if you want to see more pictures .. first page of my Build

That's what I was thinking...lol he might have to give up on the dream of it being pretty and just go with the "its a trail rig" thing.

The first dent is the hardest. It gets much easier from there.

I'm still tripping on how he did it. The dent is like an inch above the slider. How do you do that when you have sliders that stick out like 6"?

Tell me about it, I got that nice dent in the bottom of my cab ( right behind the slides). I didn't get the story yet just the picture. I'm sure it was a off camber tree/rock that snuck in above the slides.

lol, I did get some damage.

Much easier, at least I can unbolt that door and bolt a new one on.

Good excuse for tube doors, I guess..

I'm going with half doors, I already have a spare set I was going to cut up, looks like now I will cut that door up instead.

Those sliders did him a lot of good I see...

That was the first thing that popped in my head too. How the hell did he manage to perfectly miss his sliders and perfectly jack up his door?

I thought it already was a dedicated trail rig.

All weekend long and not a SINGLE scratch on my sliders, my new found ground clerance helped alot.

It is a trail rig, I'm not trying to keep it perfect like Keith would have you think, I just don't want it to look like a rasin.

There is a good video of it happening in the meet thread. I side swipped it, my rear end lost traction and sent me sideways when I was trying to bump it up out of a ravine. That rock was like a ledge, it when right over my slider and never touched it.

Cut a little around the snorkel where it comes into the engine bay. Unkinked the turn a little bit so the air outta have a little more room to flow. Bolted both the front flares on to the truck. Where are they goin? they going NO WHERE!
