That was the last pic of the day after all the stray tools had been cleaned and put away,the floor swept, and trash thrown away.

Only had about an hour last night to work on my bumper before the grandparents showed up at the house. Was planning to finish tacking it today and then take it to work tonight to weld it out with the big welder. But the windchill is currently 2° so fuck it.

This was after I welded the "wings" on the wrong sides and had to remove them. I actually had one of them tacked back up and that last piece on the left side done after the picture.

Well I may have bought that starter a little too early. Met the wife for lunch today and when we left the truck did the same thing.. no start. So I grabbed the little jump start box from the back and was gonna hook it up. But first I grabbed the positive terminal, and while it was tight, I was able to spin it every so slightly and it fired right up. Now there was zero corrosion and it was as tight as the terminal would grab.. Upon further pulling I was able to pull it off once at home. Anyhow, came home, modified the terminal to grab tighter (used a band saw to slice a tiny slice from the inside so it clamped better) and we'll see. I'm keeping the starter because I do believe it was not enough to prevent enough current to get to the starter.. but who knows.

I have the stuff to get stuff done on my rig; but instead I'm fighting off the upper respiratory crap that is going around. No fever at this point but I cannot breath so I'm actually going to take medicine for it.

Yesterday we went out and bought a 2014 Tundra. It's not the 5.7, is a 4.6. Is not a 4x4. This one worked with our budget, and does everything we need it to do. And tested it out today.
