Marco,
Just got off the phone with Nicole from TC. Much longer conversation than it needed to be but...
They are attempting to tell me that it's my truck.
Their 'proof' was that they took one of their guy's Tacoma and put on their lowers (it already had their uppers). They say that they get in spec! Between you and I - I hope so!!!
I tried to share with her that I understand that the Camburg design and their design are different and I'm not trying to say anything other than it may not be comparable with the Camburg upper. She then insisted that there are 'many' of these lowers out there on Camburgs with no complaints - who knows.
I really don't want to turn my LCA replacement into a long travel budget item - meaning I don't have plans on buying new uppers. I will more than likely go back to stock before I spend more on replacing uppers .
She then went on to suggest that my truck's LCA perches are flared out... I would buy that if the alignments that I achieved with the Camburgs didn't appear so tits on... From what I remember, the eccentrics were near neutral after I went from the All Pro ones to the Camburg ones. I remember being very impressed and pleased when I saw the eccentrics since I was used to the All Pro ones being full clock and still not in factory specs. Why the hell I ever bought the All Pros are beyond me but that's another day!
She was also suggesting that it was because I don't have their weld on tabs (I listened to her but unless they are changing the diameter of the eccentrics or choosing to reposition and open up the slot, that shouldn't make any difference).
So long story short, I am going to wait to hear from them again tomorrow.
I will keep you posted!
Roger
