Reinstalled my "new" 4.56 e-locker 3rd in the Taco. Also adjusted the rear brakes. Its like a new rig. Stops better, e-locker works better. Pretty jazzed about it. I just slipped the plug onto the broken switch plug for now. But it worked.

What brake adjustment did you make? I just installed dimpled and slotted rotors and new performance pads. Although it does seem to be better it was not all that I had thought it would be?

I had almost ZERO grab in the rear brakes. So I pulled them, cleaned them and adjusted the brakes. I did a brake job on the rears about 18 months ago, so they where still in good shape.

As for the slotted rotors and green stuff pads, let them break in, mine stop way better than stock.

Very encouraging - especially if I have something orange on my ass!

Yea I thought would be the case. I have never even pulled the rear drums and with reaching 100k I'm sure its time.

Ratchet tie down for the top grabbing the OEM rails on top of the truck and the bar with a 1/2 eye bolt.
need to put a circular bent steel at the highest points to make it smoother to adjust and not cut the canvas.

I like that idea for a bed tent. I may have to make something like that if I ever get some spare time.

Just got done installing my tapered axle shims. Thought it was going to be easy but it was actually a pita.
