What have you done to your ride lately?

Bud Built used to make an adapter plate for a York to mount to a 22R(E).. but he stopped production. I want one.

That sounds awesome. Why the hell would he stop?

I'm getting ready to leave to go camping (otherwise I would do the search) but there's a number of plans on how to weld it up... Alternatively, I bet Bud would still make one for a good customer! :D

Will pay to see Cmack get tased
Changed the oil, drained and filled the transmission, rotated the tires, fixed the leaf spring squeek (Front spring perches) and found that one of the mount bolts is frozen in the spring eye...again.

Got the coilovers changed to the new to me OME 884s and nitro 9000s today, got it all done in an hour. Was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. Come monday I'll start work on my stereo setup. Gotta have some good sounding tunes for the 24 hours ill be spending in my truck! Looks like the sliders for my Tacoma will be riding in the bed til I get home. I don't know of any good welders within an hour of me except the guy at the autohobby shop on base, but they aren't allowed to weld to the frame...Will probably just go over to Krawltex.

Pulled my third yesterday and replaced the springs.

While I was waiting for Drew I pulled and cleaned my catch cans. Hard to believe how much blow by this thing catches.

Also did my 15k oil change twice (never climb out from under truck before you reinstall the oil plug)

Jeez! If only I could get it done at the autohobby shop here, it would cost me $40! I am actually about to go get my exhaust rerouted for a total of $20 plus parts...

Anyone with a welder feel like making $150+brew? Haha

Forget the $150. Just come down to San Antonio with a case of Lonestar Light, and we'll get 'em welded on.

Thanks Drew, I'll be rolling into Austin on the 6th, so anytime that is good for you after that I can get down there. Let me know whenever it'll be good for you.

The 8th will work, it'd be nice to have them for the meet on the 11th. Wouldn't want to come down on a rock and pull a Larry :shifty:

Just starting to work on putting my amp and speakers in, wish I could have gotten started earlier in the day but I ended up helping a friend move. Now the sun is setting and I am tearing into a project I have only the slightest clue what to do. Only one way to learn, right?

Edit: Definitely way to dark to be starting something like this. I got the power wire for the amp ran and am now having to call it quits. Damn I need to get married so I can get out of the barracks and into a house with a garage!

Today I removed the cover off of the front diff so I could use a chisel to punch out the stupid little half shaft. I also noticed that the straight shaft I got from rob is missing the Bolts that attach it to the CV axle. Gonna be a pain in the ass to press them off of the ADD one and into the straight one.

Rob said not to use the studs. Said just plain bolts worked much better.
