4xInnovations.. can't say enough about the company or the product. http://4xinnovations.com/p-RS03B.html Spend the extra $ and get the DOM version, but to be honest its not required. But its not that much more and IMO worth the $.

holy shit i just told the wife i was going to buy the sliders and she said OK now i am scared what does she want....LOL.
haha love it. i told Mandy that they are on a great deal and if i get them now I can put them on and have the truck safe from side collisions with other cars. she bought it and then i bought the sliders.
always point out that, "i am making the truck safer for you and the kids. Like seatbelts."

TIG'd.. hell get its stick welded. Its under the truck so no sense getting all pretty and shit.![]()
TIG isn't usually worth the trouble unless you're doing exotic metal or need it to look purdy.
got cha, all the shows show it as teh best and strongest... good to know where the bs is.
mud_duck go to an exhaust shop and have them weld them on, cheap and they dont mind it. I did that with my 86 runner. worked well.

haha, but being a novice i dont know what is the best. I have heard that consistancy is in TIG, then Wire, Stick in that order. plus doesnt TIG burn though better?
randy, rob- you guys seen the 4x4 mag article about the 2 battery weld using jumper cable and rod?
