Super easy to wire up thru the relay but there isn't much room behind the grill to mount them both.

yeah i found a 22re with computer and harness for 300 in garden grove CA, might need to make a road trip back home and make a 400mile pitstop.

comes with a tranny also...

If it is a 22r then it is carb'd, 22re's are injected.

Yeah I know, my old 86 was carb. Vacume lines look like medusas head. If it smokes to bad I might be giving LC a call on a crate engine

LMAO, that is exactlly what I was thinking. If it is carb. I would def. get a Weber carb kit for it. I eliminated 95% of the vacuume lines on my old 22r & it ran much better.

Yeah, I was joking. If I do anything it will be a rebuild, junkyard or 4.3 chevy swap.

I vote rebuild if it needs it, but I would investigate why it is smoking first, could be as simple as valve seals.

No way dude, the only thing you should be swapping in is a small block diesel. Then boost the hell out of it.
