I could use a new sender for mine if the price is right Rob. The fuel gauge is the only thing that pisses me off when I drive the red truck. LMK

I ask if he has another. Does yours 2 wires or 3 wires? Do you have a low fuel idiot light? I wouldn't have known what mine was but I dropped the tank last weekend and looked while I had it out. Looks Like I'll be dropping it again soon.

Dont know if it has a low fuel light or not. I do know that the runner and truck sender are different though. Cant remember if its a 2 or 3 wire set up off hand

Finally arrived. Pics do not do this thing justice, it is pure beef. The crossmember is 3/8" thick and the skid is 3/16". Skid is huge, it should just about cover the entire tranny.

I just gave that entire setup - sans shirt to my buddy that towed my toy home - the seller threw it in and I have a different set up now.... sweet!!!

Why don't we all just join forces and start a Fab company? You can be sales, I'll be R&D, Rob can be fab...

I think about that from time-to-time!

I got management down, thats for damn sure. I would love to have this as my job. Making offroad parts and bullshitting with you guys all day. I could live with that. LOL

Ohh and getting to write off wheeling trips as a "company expense"! What could beat that?

This is before with the old crossmember, measured off the ground we'll call it 15" but it actually an 1/8" less.

After the Bud Built was installed 18-1/2" - Very difficult to get this shot.

Here are the fitment issues with the skid, the case hangs too low past the crossmember for it to bolt up. I am hoping that it is because my mount is sagging and that when the new one gets here on Friday it will cure this problem.

The front of the skid is also hitting the front drive shaft, I think I will just wait for the new mount and then cut the skid until it fits.

5.29 rear third and front diff made it. I wasn't expecting the whole front diff but that is going to make it much easier to install. I have got to get these things out of my office, they smell strong of gear oil, lol.

True on both accounts.

Just talked to Bud Built and he said my problem is likely the sagging mount, but if it doesn't fix the issue then he would send me a taller spacer to put between the crossmember and mount. He also offered to send me a different skid but I told him that I would rather just cut the one I have to clear the driveshaft.

Bud is a great guy, I will be buying the front skid soon enough.
I hoping these gears are going to make the truck a whole new beast.

Shit, lol. They will be installed by the end of this coming weekend. I am going to get them cleaned up tonight and might get started.
