New trans mount finally showed up.

The bad news is that the shifter linkage bracket did not make it, so another weekend is going to go by with the 4runner disabled in the garage. At least I have plenty of other things to work on.

I retract my statement seems it came out earlier this year.

I'm still thinking on it. If I could sell mine outright instead of trading it I was going to use the $$ towards a front bumper. Question is would I rather have a front bumper or front locker?

So 2 lockers on an truck with no armour is a good idea? lol. IDK, I am just going to wait and see if this other deal I have going is gonna pan out or not, if this other guy buys mine then I will put the $$ towards a bumper and if not I will trade the other guy lockers.

- Exhaust crack is welded up and I got it back under the truck last night, made a really nice hanger out of plumbers tape, lol. I will get it to the shop asap.
- Installed the new case mount and it lifted the case another 3/8" or so, but still not quite enough for me to get the skid on. I called Bud a few minutes ago and he (actually answerd on a Saturday) is going to be sending me a 3/16" thick spacer to put between the mount and the crossmember. He said he could get it out today and I should have it early next week.
- Picked up everything I need to swap out the diffs this afternoon (except I forgot the damn silicone) got 7 quarts of gear oil, 2 new outer axle seals and 1 new wheel cylinder. Something is leaking on the pass rear wheel, I think it is brake fluid.
- Pulled both drive shafts in preperation for todays festivites.

Strike that, both diffs are in. Pulled the axles all the way out this time and replaced the seals. Also I guess I had a leaky wheel cylinder so I replaced it as well. Damn I wish I could drive the fucking thing. It's prob going to be Tuesday before the shifter linkage I fucked up will be here. Thanks Keith and Sam for the help today!

Don't worry, of course I have pictures. I'm still working in the garage, they will be up late tonight or in the am.

That's what I did in my Taco and it worked out just fine. I was able to take obstacles alot slower and managed to get away with zero damage except for the rear bumper

I agree your taco looked good when you sold it, but it had 100 pounds of bondo on it, lol. Not that I am terribly worried about minor body damage, I just want to avoid another incident with MAJOR body damage.

Glad you are making some progress Rob. Spent all day organizing my garage so I can put the Red truck in there tomorrow. Cant wait to see some pics of everything for a little motivation on my end.
