Indeed, it would. When I was doing research for "on board water", I ran across a couple people who had installed a second tank on their 4runner. I've been thinking about what to do with that space, and since a spare tire won't fit easily, it will probably be a gas tank or OBA.

Indeed, plus I'm trying to get rid of all the chrome. I don't know if I want to leave the fenders naked though. They're usually the first thing to scrape.

Wouldn't wheel spacers fix that problem? Of course once you LT the front that won't be a concern.

I don't really feel like putting wheel spacers on this rig. Especially since only the crappy ones would fit.

The bumper separates int 3 different pieces which makes painting it alot easier.

Hit it with a wire wheel, then wiped it down with some denatured alcohol

First coat on one 2 on the other

Tried to wire up the stereo today and discovered that the jackhole who installed that DVD monstrosity stole power off the fuse box by jamming a wire into the one of the blade fuse slots. Guess which fuse he used, and which dash light went off after I removed his rigged wire... Rear ABS

Only problem now is that the stock stereo wiring harness isn't receiving power even though the fuse is good. Gonna have to hunt down some demons.

It looks better, but I still don't really like it at all. I think I might just go bumper-less for the time being. It looks pretty good like that.

Then I'll just build something high clearance later. Not like this thing is gonna be hitting the trail for awhile.

I took some pics but accidentally deleted them and didn't feel like going outside to take more.

The tires don't look that sucked into me? Just barely in from being flush, at least they won't be getting into his outter fender skins.

Yeah I think that pic from the rear is a bad angle, it doesn't look bad in person...but it is a HUGE difference from the tires it came with

Has alot to do with the fact that there's no bumper in the pic, and the driveway starts sloping right there so it looks alot taller.

I kinda like that look, but it's not what I'm going for.
