Has anyone here shot the new walther PPX? I'm looking for a 9mm pistol for the fiancee. They are supposed to have the best stock trigger on the market.

Get her a XDS 9 and put the same trigger you bought for your XDM. Winner winner chicken dinner.

I want to do that but she shot the walther P99 (IIRC) at the gun range and she shot it like a laser. All of her shots where in or touching the bullseye. I saw the new PPQ M2 and read the reviews on it. Seems to have an awesome trigger right out of the box.

Can't argue with accuracy. I only own one Walther, a P22, but I love that little fucker. Just wish it had more than 10 rnds in the mag.

Good to hear. I'm going to pick up the tacticool threaded barrel P22 soon.

I've built a couple already. Long slide, barrel, and internal parts from Lone Wolf.

I can only speculate at this point, but the Lone Wolf Slides are probably heavier than OEM Glock.

Oh OK cool.isn't the longslide have cutouts too?

Anyone here have or have experience with the Springfield XDm line of pistols? I am really leaning towards an XDm compact in 45ACP for a new CCW.

Never shot the 45, I shot the 40 and 9

I have Xdm 9, love it, only problem I have is the carry 1 in the chamber, no safety, probably need to get a different holster other than the one provided from the kit, but I have practiced numerous times quick draw and w/charging the slide.

Due to the amount high capacity of guns carried now days, I selected the 9 based on my accuracy, bullet capacity(13 compact mag, 19 full size), cost of ammo and I only want to maintain a few caliber sizes in the family.

But during heat of summer or shorts, I carry Bersa

How well do the XDm pistols handle the recoil? Agree about keeping with similar calibers - so far all my pistols are 22, 380, or 45. Ironically the only one I can afford to shoot at the moment is the 45.

I have the XDm 40 and it's fine for recoil. Not a .45 so your mileage may vary. But I don't have a problem at all.
