What have you done to your ride lately?

That's cool! I know my TSL SX's suck at anything above 10... Probably the same for LTB's.

Around 20 IIRC.. like I mentioned.. he's been aired down lower and had better results. But for the apples to apples (granny smith to gala's.. as I was aired down as well) I think in this case the KM2's did better. No idea why, could be the rig.. first gen vs. 2nd gen... or the stars alignment. Granted he did take bigger some risks that weekend... but in the end IMO I think the KM2's did great. I should let Randy, Jason and Drew chime in.

I remember that, stupid hill was nasty, took WOT for about 5 min to get up that thing.

You talking to me?
Because I'm a douche and wanted to make fun of you online when you posted about it :)

But seriously, I didn't think about it. Figured the only reason you would go to the dealer was to buy some parts.

Here's 3 in order of who I would take it to:
Certified Automotive repair - on San Pedro; tell them I referred you (included last name)
Dealer Alternative
Broadway Garage

I know your a douche your name with the proper accents on the letters could be pronounced douche, i'll check them out, went to the yard today only got a hood, still tracking down a taillight, mirror and gear box. I'll hold off on the gear box till I get a second opinion on the issue at hand.

I'd be careful using Drews name Eric. That mechanic might expect the same favors from you that he gets from Drew. lol

I know, I know

Good info. Not sure about running in single digit PSI...too easy to lose a bead I would think. Lowest I'd want to air down would be 15ish.

I usually went down to 8-10 on my bighorns and haven't lost a bead on them yet 315/75-16 on stock wheels

I'm a little late to the tire talk party. But I have KM2's on my trail rig. So far, they have handled everything that I have put under them, with ease. I'm still trying to get the right psi nailed down, but they do great. I may cut some of the knobs off to open up the tread, but impressed.

I've been running 12 PSI with my pizza cutter KM2s. They have E rated sidewalls so they're a little stiffer than the D rated ones most of y'all run.

PPV or live show?

That's why. I love these 7.5" Toyota alloys and wouldn't be scared to run 10 PSI with 'em (I've done it). But the stuff I'm going to is a full inch wider at 8.5 and the tire width is the same, meaning the bead becomes more vulnerable.

I know it sound pitiful, I am waiting for a deal to close before I do anything. At that time even Z will go out and wrench with me! lol :)

I think I know what the root of the problem is... The pig isn't black. I suggest you swing by Home Depot this afternoon, buy 10 cans of Rustoleum satin black and a few packages of sandpaper. This will ensure the pig doesn't feel like a redheaded stepchild in your driveway. :)
