Yesterday I pulled out the power seats from the LC and replaced them with manual ones I picked up at the yard, great find I think same color, leather is intact and undamaged, a little greasing of the rails, and they fit perfectly. Did have to pull the seat belt clip off the power seats and find a place to mount them to these. Found the solution and i'm good to go.
Wish I didn't feel like shit today I could've done more, slept all damn day.

Okay, so Eric and I changed out the fuel injector on cylinder #4 today. Turned it over and it's still spraying a bunch of gas. Not sure it it's because there's still a problem, or if all the fuel that's spraying out is still from before. Used a rubber hose to syphon some out then left the cylinder open so that hopefully the rest evaporates. Will try it again tomorrow.

I don't know much about how those motors are set up but what about the fuel injection computer or maybe there is a clog(s) in the fuel line and only letting fuel to cylinder 4? Fuel pressure regulator?

I think those are too big to be causing the problem unless the little bastard left his crappy cereal in the fuel lines.

so you have plenty of gas.. how about spark?
3 things make a motor turn.. gas, spark and air. Assuming you have plenty of air (in correctly metered volumes) and the gas is there.. how much is YTBD.. but how about spark?

It's the excessive amounts of gas. It to rich to combust and is just getting dumped into the exhaust

hmm..did you check the gas coming into the other injectors? Anything coming out? Like you said, maybe one of them is just clogged. Shitty thing fucking with injectors. keep Mr Fire Extinguisher close by.
If it's still spewing gas tomorrow, I'll pull the rail all the way out and watch the gas come out of each injector while I turn it over

Just unplugged the battery and will leave it that way till this evening so the ECU resets. If that doesn't fix it, then it I'll check the wiring continuity and if that ain't it, might be buying a new ECU.
I've had a slight ping in the engine since I bought it that I haven't been able to get rid of. This might be the culprit. Thought I was just hearing bad ujoints or something, but I checked those while I was under the truck yesterday and they're solid.
