Yes it is. He made me a hell of a deal on it and I couldn't pass it up. We camp ALOT as a family, mostly state parks but at least one weekend a month. It will get plenty of use.

Went to go get my oil changed on the Tacoma today at Don McGill Toyota on Kirkwood. Ended up being free since my truck has over a 100K on it and I'm in the century club. The lady told me I can get 2 free oil changes a year like that.

To add to the free oil change, there were some hotties in there. Double score.

I need to replace the passenger side rear axle seal. Figure I'll break it down tonight and see what I need to order.

Well.... Fuck. Pulled the axle out. Seems the bearing is shot. Put it in the press and it didn't budge... But it appears the inner flange warped under the pressure. Awesome. Fuck.

Cool. Well it seems I get dumbass move of the year. Left the snap ring on when trying to press it out. It was grungy and I didn't notice it. This should be easier now. But I'm waiting until tomorrow to give it another shot

Runs great just a little tappy. Drove it around last fall with no muffler for a few months. That was fun ~ the noise almost covered over the clunks from the engine.

Roger was messing with me the other day telling me it had been 2 years since I got the engine. It's still in my shed. I haven't touched the truck except to drive her in months. Take her out wheeling at least once a week to keep her lubed up. Still knocking away and the oil on the dipstick looks like metallic spray paint. Think my last oil change was 2years ago??

Not really a ride. But it's a hauler. New tars. Even got a new spare and some wheel locks. . Installed in the rain. Need to get it home and repack the bearings and weld up the inner fenders. Fuck those things pop loose all the time.

Sad day selling the trail rig but I can feel ya. I was on the fence, even more so to sell. But the dumbass side of me decided to keep it. Now to just dump more money into it.

Hah, it's been parked for some time now..booted right up today though. Could have easily sold it for more had I fixed the clutch.. but I didn't feel like fucking with it and still made a profit-if that's what you want to call it with these money pits
